The Timberland Super Barometer is an elite boot that pays homage to classic 80's icons, most notably Run DMC. This boot honors early rap by using the symbol of status and success as the key design detail: the "Dookie Rope". Other details of this boot include a full-grain, waterproof leather upper and Gore-Tex® membrane, a triple-density PU midsole and a double-riveted, rustproof hook and lacing system. The inside of the boot is comprised of a breathable Cambrelle® lining and Thinsulate® insulation. The outsole is a Vibram® black lug sole with yellow label. Distinct graphics and embellishments unique to this boot include laser-etching of the Statue of Liberty on the tongue, building silhouettes on one side of each shoe and a script on the back reading, "36 Chambers, Protect Ya Neck and C.R.E.A.M." Debossed on the side of each shoe is "Staten Isl", and the Timberland tree logo is on the back of the heel. Metallic stitching throughout keeps with the "status and success" theme, along with a luxurious, jewel-like stone component that appears on the heel, with smaller stones on the side and on the tongue.
